With 32 years’ experience as music historian, educator, author and performing musician, Elinor Olin brings a broad and unique perspective to her engaging seminars on opera. She has shared her passion for music through in-depth discussions, lectures and workshops for the Santa Fe Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Grant Park Music Festival. Dr. Olin has been an invited speaker to international conferences at Harvard University, Oxford University, Northwestern University and elsewhere. She is currently a member of the graduate music history faculty at Northern Illinois University.
